In Bangladesh at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (VGHS) we will hold our World Helicopter Day event – World Helicopter Day 2019 – Bangladesh Chapter
Almost all the growing helicopter companies of the Bangladesh Helicopter Industry came together in solidarity to celebrate and work towards safe flight operations in the future.
Helicopter companies involved include:
1) ATL Aviation Limited
2) South Asian Airlines Limited
3) Square Air Limited
4) R & R Aviation Limited
5) Bangla International Airlines Limited
6) Meghna Aviation Limited
7) BRB Air Limited
8) Bashundhara Airways Limited
9) Partex Aviation Limited
10) BCL Aviation Limited
All the above companies are registered in Bangladesh, and they operate from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka in the capital city of Bangladesh.
Phase One: Celebrate on 18th August 2019 with all industry personnel to mark the day with everyone around the globe. This celebration includes, the static display of all available helicopters in the General Aviation Area of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. While doing the static display there will be a cake cutting ceremony with a group photo session with all the helicopter industry in front of a banner designed for the celebration of the World Helicopter Day.
After the group photo session, there took place a flying display of at least 6 helicopters from existing 6 company with a circuit and landing together to
mark the day. After that few individual group photo session of the personnel in front of their company helicopters.
Phase Two: The social evening and cultural program will be carried out on 29th August 2019 at Palm View Restaurant, Army Golf Club ,Dhaka with all aviation and helicopter industry personnel. This program will encompass to unify all pioneer helicopter pilots of Bangladesh together with young generation and serving helicopter pilots, engineers and other personnel involved in this operation.
The video documentary is under process to celebrate this World helicopter Day 2019. It will be shared with you as soon as it is prepared. We have many television channel making the reporting about the day and media coverage about our helicopter operation in Bangladesh.
