This event will be a showcase of the roles that helicopters play in emergency services in our local area and an opportunity for the public to interact with the aircraft and the crews that operate them.
The event will include a static display on Westport park of the helicopters within our fleet as well as locally utilised Air Ambulance (Westpac Rescue Helicopter), firefighting (NSW RFS) & law enforcement (NSW PolAir) helicopters. There will also be food and beverages available on site with a coffee van operating and the local Marine rescue running a BBQ.
Entry to the display area will be via a gold coin donation, with funds raised going to the charitable arm of our business, the Affinity Disaster Relief Foundation, the local Port Macquarie Marine Rescue and Westpac rescue helicopter.
